Then process and analysis the image based on the image processing technology, and warning according to processing result, so as to realize the remote monitoring the status of the railway switch machine. Switch machines are distributed along the railway, wide and long distance. Before through inspection of rotating machine workers checked on a regular basis to realize the switch machine fault, low efficiency, poor real-time performance. It is necessary to counter rotating machine based remote real-time monitoring, improve the efficiency of monitoring, make a railway train operation more safe and reliable.First practical investigate and analysis the operation condition of the switch machine equipment, get the distribution of the switch machine around the Xi ‘an railway station. Familiar with work process and specification, determine the reasonable value of the switch machine gap range. According to subject requirements, the overall design based on image processing of the early warning system for real-time monitoring of railway switch machine.Then design the video acquisition system, according to the performance requirements, the final selection of CCD camera with the TI company DM365 combined video acquisition card, collecting gap video and converting the format. Analysis the disadvantages and advantages of a variety of remote communication at the same time, due to the electric power carrier communication is suitable for long distance communication, power line high mechanical strength, good transmission reliability, good real-time, and rail lines have been laid, the cost is low, so we choose electric power carrier communication as the communication mode of this system. The video data collected by power carrier communication is transmitted to the upper machine control room. Design the monitoring software based MFC, realize the central server and railway field data transmission, display switch machine gap image real-time in the software home page, and the software can automatically or manually calculate the gap distance, distance monitoring and provide early warning function.We do the testing experiment both on modules of the system and the overall system, analysis the results, solve problems, optimize the system design scheme. In order to make the system can operate in along the railway as soon as possible, we do the scene debugging in the Weinan railway station.
