Translated Abstract
Qichang Dong and Shan Fu are famous calligraphers in the late Ming. The time of their birth was less than 50 years, and this two calligraphers‘ style of xing cao script belongs to "two Wang", and the style of regular script comes from Zhenqin Yan, but they different in calligraphy style. What is more, both of them have reached similar level of achievement. We should think about this fact. If we could find the way that they find their Calligraphy styles, and use these methods for our own creatation, it will bring benefits to our Calligraphy creatation. The key factors that make Calligraphy style different may be the experience of calligrapher, especially the felling of their heart and emotions aesthetic orientation and differences in aesthetic. What is more, experience has effect on view of the world and outlook on life. The view of art comes from the view of the world and outlook on life, and also it contains aesthetic orientation and aesthetic taste. Because of this complex relationship, there is a need for utilization of comparison. This dissertation is on the basis of great amount of historical data by comparing calligraphy styles, life experiences and other different aspects of Qichang Dong and Shan Fu. This dissertation is trying to examine this relationship, study the effect that it has on calligraphy style and then find the key factors that influence calligraphy style and their successful experience.It tries to find the relationship of life experience, aesthetic orientation, making a choice of calligraphy skills and art style by examing calligrahic skills, calligraphic theory and the reason and process of forming distinct characters. It forms subjective opinions towards the achievement of Qichang Dong and Shan Fu, and corrects some bias on them.
