However, at this time rich and comfortable place of Sichuan thrived in the history of buddhist art. Large number of art craftsmen were influenced by northern buddhist ritual in the central plains, and their concept were blend with the local characteristics of Sichuan native. So Sichuan place unique artistic style to come into being. During the Two Song Dynasties, the local features and secularization style in An yue grotto got mature gradually. From the Buddhism grotto statues and exquisite processing point of view of artistic value to see, An yue grottoes are difficult to compare with the heyday of Buddhism grotto statues. It does not have the gorgeous and generous that heyday grottoes.
