Translated Abstract
The performance of the EFI system is greatly influenced by DCFP (Direct Current motor Fuel Pump). The Permanent Magnet DCFP, which is widely used nowadays, has some shortcomings of efficiency and lifespan due to the application of commutator. These problems can be solved by using ACFP (Alternating Current Motor Fuel Pump). An original design scheme of the ACFP system is presented and the ACFP test bed is developed in this paper. And the design scheme and implementation method of this system are discussed and analysed in detail. The characteristics and control strategies of the DC-to-AC inverter power are analyzed. According to the ACFP’s special requirement, the SPWM inverter is set to be the core of the power unit of ACFP. The operating theory and structure of micro-induction motor is formulated. Based on the analysis of the electromagnetic theory of motor, the stability and low voltage start are analyzed by using the vector methods. The specific design scheme, procedure and requirement on ACFP are proposed. The durability of induction motor is estimated. Furthermore, the peripheral pump is optimized. The design method of the peripheral pump is proved by the coefficient counter-algorithm. The performance of the ACFP system is tested under low voltages and different frequency. The results indicate that, even under low voltage input, the developed ACMFP system has good output of Fuel quantity and pressure, steady operation, low noise and so on. ACFP has a better performance than DCFP. Furthermore the ACFP is cheaper, so it has a good prospect.
