Translated Abstract
In the wave of global economic integration, the international trade competition is becoming increasingly fierce, so that many of the original main trade powers are under pressure. China, Japan and Korea exports in 2015, there has been a downward trend. Trade costs have an important impact on international trade. Therefore, it is of theoretical and practical value to study the bilateral trade cost and its influencing factors in China, Japan and Korea to help sign the multilateral free trade agreement between China, Japan and South Korea, and tap the potential of China, Japan and Korea trade.
In order to study the changes in the bilateral trade costs of China, Japan and Korea and the factors influencing it. This paper uses the Novy model to measure bilateral trade costs between China and Japan, Japan and Korea in 1984 to 2014 period, and bilateral trade costs between China and Korea in 1991 to 2014 period. After the calculation, carried out a more detailed analysis of the results. The results show that China-Japanese bilateral trade costs fell by 23.87% during the period 1984 to 2014, with an average annual decline rate of 0.90%; China-Korea bilateral trade costs fell by 50.62% during the period 1991 to 2014, with an average annual decline rate of 2.32% ; Bilateral trade costs between Japan and Korea fell by 6.07% between 1984 and 2014, with an average annual decline rate of 0.21%. The overall bilateral trade costs of China, Japan and Korea decreased by 30.7% in 1991-1994. In 2014, Japan-Korea bilateral trade costs accounted for the largest share of total cost, China-Korea bilateral trade costs accounted for the lowest rate, and China-Japan share were centered. and then. After the calculation, use the Eviews6.0 software and the traditional regression model to analyze the factors influencing the bilateral trade cost of China, Japan and Korea.
Compared with the previous research, this paper estimates that the bilateral trade costs since 2010 showed a slight rebound. The results show that the geographical distance factors have a positive effect on the trade cost, factors that have negative effects on trade costs by magnitude order are: the degree of protection of property rights, the density of railways, the level of trade freedom, the total amount of GDP, the number of Internet users, and the number of countries which have signed common free trade agreements. Finally, according to the conclusion and empirical results of this paper, we have obtained the policy revelation of bilateral trade between China, Japan and Korea: established a complete system of property rights protection, improved infrastructure construction, adjusted trade structure and reduced trade friction.
