At present, with the development of the economic, the competition between different companies is more and more fierce. In order to earn more profit, it is quite necessary for the companies to use the knowledge of project management to control their cost. Under this environment, the knowledge of project management has been applied to the yueliangwan interior fit-out project. And the results are quite satisfactory. In this paper, first of all, according to the theory of project management and with the schedule control of yueliangwan interior fit-out project as the research background, this article describes the requirement of project. With the actual situation of the project, through some tools as the work breakdown structure, responsibility matrix set up, network diagrams and so on, and other methods, prepared preliminary project schedule at last, according to analysis of schedule and resource, the initial plan was been optimization by method of compressed critical path. At last, with the use of earned value analysis method , a reasonable choice of observation point, rely on relevant data , timely analysis of the progress and take necessary corrective measures, the project was completed on schedule. It has achieved good results that the research of progress optimization and control for yueliangwan interior fit-out project, through the use of project schedule management system, not only improved my own project management level, but lay a good foundation of the theory and practice for more similar projects.
